Wow it has been so long since I posted here - last week was really busy, beginning with a Birthday Lunch for a good friend on Sunday, a trip down the coast to see Sam being invested as a student leader on Monday, another trip down the coast on Tuesday to our Accountant, RDA on Wednesday and then yesterday we were down the coast again to see all the family and to visit friends and do some Carriage Driving in the Forestry (this is a State Government Pine Forest with lots of tracks. Luckily our friends live nearby and know the way as it is like a maze. The weather is still very warm but the rain held off and we had a lot of fun. In the photo you can see our friends Brian and Sarah in front and we are driving their pony `Thomas the Tank Engine' known as Tom. We shared the driving and it was a very relaxing and scenic drive.

great photo Helen, it looks like a lovely place :)
This is such a beautiful olde worlde scene. I hope you were wearing your bonnet!
It sounds like you're having a great (and busy) summer Helen! The morning misty sunrise on the lake must have been a beautiful experience.
I've seen An Inconvenient Truth too and it certainly makes you stop and think. There's an interesting site at http://www.earthday.net/footprint/index.asp that has a quiz to see how big your footprint is on the planet and I was shocked to realize that if everyone lived like me, we'd need 5.7 planet earths. It's not hugely accurate of course but it's enough to make you realize we're not doing enough!
