Welcome to the world Abbey Fay. We arrived at the hospital about an hour before she was born and in this photo she is about 1 hour old. As you can see she is beautiful and she already has an adoring fan club. Abbey Fay weighed in at 6lbs exactly and was born at 4.00 pm. exactly on February 10. We are so proud of her beautiful Mum who was sitting up having a cup of tea and eating toast when we came in to meet Abbey. Her Dad assisted with the delivery and he is over the moon. Now we are all looking forward to more cuddles :)

Welcome to the world Abbey Fay. What a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl. And I can just see how much her grandmother loves her in this photo. What a lucky little girl.

20 months ago, my youngest granddaughter was born. I sat in a chair, with the same look of adoration on my face. She was so tiny and pink and gorgeous. Now she is her own avalanche - opinionated, mischievous, as quick as the wind, climber of simian proportions and all-round trouble maker.
I say that with a smile on my face. She is still gorgeous but comes with "issues".
I hope we will see a lot more photos of Abbey Fay showing HER progress from exquisite tiny blob to a person with attitude! That is one of the great joys of being a Grandma.
