The more I become involved in Digital Art the more I love it. Here is a LO I did over the weekend and I loved this so much I had to print it out. The actual size is 8x8. I like this size as I can print it myself.

I do all my layouts at 8 x 8 as well Helen and for exactly that same reason as you. Although in A4 paper I still have to fit them to the page cause they are just a fraction to big still for my printer.
