Here is my second go at a LO from the photos Patti sent up. This one is of Doreen (my mother) age 16, and the photo is a much better image to work with despite its age. This was a professional photograph and didn't even need photoshopping :) You can clearly see her red hair in this photo and complete lack of freckles. This is why I chose Autumn colours to work with. It makes me wonder what she was like then. Still not one for smiling in photographs. I don't know what she would think about my artistic interpretation, knowing Mum she would probably make some disparaging remark.
